Chamber to debut marketing series

The Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce, along with Rosie Taylor of Rosiemedia, will host a Wake Up Your Marketing breakfast series that uses social media as a business tool.

Members will learn how to create newsletters and announce campaigns at a session titled “Creating Email Marketing Campaigns and List Building,” on Aug. 6.

On Aug. 13, the topic will be “Wake Up Your Marketing,” and the final program, Aug. 20, will be “Wake Up and Groove with Your Social Media.”

Sessions will start at 8:45 a.m. at the chamber office, 400 Royal Palm Way. Each class requires individual registration.

Law firm announcement — Jaime A. Quick has joined Haile Shaw & Pfaffenberger, which has offices in Palm Beach, North Palm Beach, Wellington and Palm City.

Quick graduated summa cum laude from Nova Southeastern University Law Center, where she was a member of the Law Review.

She previously worked as a litigator for Edwards Wildman. Prior to that, she was a partner with the Quick Law Firm, P.A., with offices in Wellington and Jupiter.

Junior League president named — Laura Russell of Cheney Brothers Inc. has been elected president of the Junior League of the Palm Beaches’ board of directors.

She will lead the organization in implementing two programs focusing on foster care. One will mentor youth and the other will provide “an extreme makeover” for a residential facility.
